B.Com, B.Com (Honors) and B.BA are the most popular undergraduate courses available in commerce stream after 12th. Bachelor of Commerce course is the most popular undergraduate course for commerce students after 12th. This course will enable the candidates to find lucrative Career opportunities in the field of Banking, Insurance, Accounting and Finance.

Commerce graduates can get into the post of Income Tax Officer in Income Tax Department of State/Central government. For that, they should qualify the Income Tax Officer’s examination held by Staff Selection Commission. They can also pursue professional certification courses like CPA, CFA, CA, ICWA, CS, etc. These courses will enable the candidates to enter into the profession of Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Analyst or Chartered Accountant.
